Only ONE WEEK Left to Secure Early Registration Rates for NECA 2010 Convention and Trade Show in Boston, Oct. 2-5

Revolutionary Power. Renewable Solutions.

There’s only one week left to lock in early registration rates for the electrical construction industry's favorite event, the annual convention and trade show of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). NECA 2010 Boston, Oct. 2-5, brings leading electrical contractors together with the manufacturers, innovators, suppliers and service providers to find real solutions for this rapidly evolving industry.

From smart grid technologies to new OSHA crane and derrick guidelines, NECA 2010 Boston offers education and insight for anyone affiliated with the electrical construction industry.

NECA’s convention and trade show are the leading venues for the electrical construction industry, featuring classroom and hands-on education, active networking opportunities and open discussion forums where electrical contractors can address the critical issues facing their industry. The nearly sold-out 2010 NECA Show floor has grown 30 percent from last year, promising a packed trade show with manufacturers, vendors and service providers committed to supporting NECA members’ competitiveness and innovation.

“The NECA convention is where I come to get recharged,” said Rocky Sharp, Madsen Electric, Tacoma, Wa. “No matter how tough a year it may have been, I know I’m going to hear some kind of good news there. Either it’s a new product that saves time on a job, or a new way to connect with customers – it always helps. It always gives me a new perspective and a renewed outlook.”

“NECA’s convention and trade show are the industry’s leading event because our workshops and exhibitors focus on topics that matter to electrical contractors,” said Beth Ellis, NECA executive director, convention/exposition. “We go directly to electrical contractors to learn what issues are affecting their businesses and what aspects of the industry they want to learn more about.”

Management education and technical workshops are led by instructors with hands-on industry experience and knowledge. “Anyone working in electrical construction knows that the NECA convention is the best deal when it comes to getting the training and making the connections that matter to their business,” Sharp said.

“Early registration saves attendees money, but they also get first-pick of pre-convention workshops and the chance to interact with exhibitors before they ever get to Boston,” Ellis said. “Right now, no one in our industry can afford to lose any momentum. And that’s why we’re bringing the best minds together in one location for this year’s convention and trade show.”

NECA 2010 Boston will also feature an expanded Energy Solutions Zone with new “building green” resources at the NECA Show; several special safety sessions for high-voltage line contractors and a keynote speech from ocean explorer Bob Ballard, who located the wrecks of the Titanic, Yorktown, and more.
