DEXTER + CHANEY WILL DISPLAY SPECTRUM’S SERVICE REQUEST CENTER, QUERY AND DASHBOARDS MODULE AT NECA SHOW 2010

NEWS RELEASE
Dexter + Chaney Will Display Spectrum’s Service Request
Center,  Query And Dashboards Module At NECA Show 2010

SEATTLE, August 26, 2010:   The Service Request center and Query and Dashboards module in Spectrum® Construction Software will highlight the Dexter + Chaney (www.dexterchaney.com) booth (#819) at the NECA Show October 3-5 at the Boston Convention & Exposition Center.

Spectrum’s Service Request center provides, on a single screen, access to all of the information required to handle a customer’s service request. A dispatcher can use the information to create or modify a new work order within seconds. From the same screen, the dispatcher can view information critical to each work order, including work history, on-site history and credit status.

The Query and Dashboards module in Spectrum gives every user a view of the most important information they need to do their job, thus turning raw data into business intelligence. Built-in and customizable dashboards can be used by owners, finance and operations to track key performance indicators. Users can employ the Query capability to drill down into the details, helping everyone better understand and address business issues as they occur.

About Dexter + Chaney

More than 1,000 construction companies throughout the United States use Dexter + Chaney’s Spectrum® Construction Software. Contractors who use Spectrum report they have improved profitability and have grown their businesses more than 300 percent without adding financial staff.

Spectrum is built on the best available technology. That includes the Microsoft SQL Server database, Microsoft Server operating system and a software development framework that uses the best software development tools available. Those tools include Crystal Reports, Java, Microsoft.net and Northgate Information Solutions’ PRO-IV Rapid Application Development Framework.

Dexter + Chaney designed the business processes in Spectrum using PRO-IV. That enables the company to respond quickly to customer needs and thus rank as the technology leader among construction ERP (enterprise resource planning) software developers. For example, Spectrum in 1999 was the first construction management software program to offer integrated document imaging; today, Dexter + Chaney has more customers using its Document Imaging capability than any other construction ERP software company.
